Apollo Saturn V & The Lunar Program

The Apollo Saturn V is the first and only piloted human space vehicle to land on the moon, and to stay there for at least two days.apollo saturn v It accomplished this feat during the Apollo 11 mission. Although many space vehicles have followed this example and landed on the moon, none has accomplished so many feats as this one has. Many people, including astronauts, believe that the Saturn V is the greatest accomplishment in manned spaceflight.

Unfortunately, this success was marred by one fatal flaw - the Saturn V's third stage, which became unstuck during re-entry, causing the vehicle to plummet back to Earth and kill the astronauts.apollo saturn v apollo saturn v The Saturn V, designed by NASA's WACM ( Wings and Actors of Satellite Manned Mission) program, is one of the most successful manned space flight programs in history. Unfortunately, the Saturn V failed its test flight when it became caught up in one of these "dirty" falls, an accident which also killed one of the astronauts. This accident, however, laid the blame squarely on the design of the Saturn V's third stage, which had included several redundant parts. The design flaw was discovered during a review of data recovered from the fatal accident, which resulted in the redesign of the stage and the ultimate demise of the Saturn V program.

The Saturn V and the lunar space station, as well as the lunar module, were meant to be the same design, using the same basic structure.apollo saturn v Its main problem was the fact that the third stage, which included the hot gas igniters and liquid oxygen tanks, was housed in a different part of the vehicle than the primary launch area. As a result, several experiments utilizing the lunar equipment and samples failed to survive the test. Yet, there is still much hope for further lunar and planetary exploration using the space station and the lunar colonies.

Despite all the problems and issues encountered with the Saturn V and the Apollo program, both programs ended successfully. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin will forever be recognized as two of the greatest Americans of all time. Both men piloted the very first moon landing and returned safely to earth. Unfortunately, they did not live to enjoy the achievements. Neil Armstrong passed away just six months later, sadly not having the opportunity to see his beloved lunar lander.

The Saturn V, and the Apollo program in general, was a giant failure. Its biggest problem was the design of the Saturn V and the way it was powered by solid fuel. The Saturn V and the moon project both needed solid fuel, or liquid hydrogen and oxygen, to make their spacecraft fly. The Saturn V required an enormous amount of thrust to ignite liquid hydrogen and oxygen. This created enormous vibrations which ultimately caused the explosion that brought about the loss of the Saturn V and the Apollo program. Neil Armstrong was the last man to walk on the moon.

If you are going to have a "moon job", make sure that your launch vehicle and your photosite is large enough to allow for a safe landing and safe ascent into orbit. Also make sure your launch vehicle and your photosite is equipped with a good-quality camera that takes high resolution photographs. You might want to consider acquiring one of the many lunar photos posted on the internet on the subject. The Apollo Saturn V and the lunar missions were both magnificent accomplishments, but it is impossible to forget the glory of the Saturn V and the lunar program.
